520 x £14.00 = £7,280

7 shows every week for 4 weeks: 28 shows

28 x £7,280 = £203,840

60-40% Connaught Theatre box office split = Anjuli Theatre Company making £81,536

Maximum Profit = £81, 536 - £30,834 = £50,702

Programmes will cost £2.00 and there are 520 seats at the connaught theatre.
If everyone bought one for one show the income would be = £1,040 (based on full house)
28 shows x £1,040 = £29,120 (based on full house)

so say we filled half the theatre each day and they all buy a programme 
£2.00 x 260 = 520
520 x 28 = £14,560

Funding in kind

In order to kickstart my theatre company i have produced a budget and require £28,031,

 i understand that the first step is to ensure that i have funding in kind in order to present the strongest possible argument for much funding. Rachel Maddix would let our company use the rehearsal space in funding in kind from 5-7pm so that would save us money. Although the company would ask for money for the materials to make the costume and props the actors and their parents would put it together which saves money because we wouldn't need a costume maker or set/prop maker.

First i would go to the princes trust because they are more likely to offer money because my company is made up of young actors.

WHO CAN APPLY? 

UK residents;

• Aged 14-16 and not expecting to achieve five GCSEs (or equivalent) grades A-C
• Aged 16-25 and not in education, training or employment

(Our company includes 15-19 year olds so we would be eligible)

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Eligible young people are invited to meet face to face with a Prince’s Trust Awards Assessor to discuss their Award and to fill out an application which will then be sent to a Prince’s Trust Awards panel for a decision. The whole process can take up to 6 weeks so applications should be made well in advance, if possible.

EXAMPLES WHAT CAN BE FUNDED INCLUDE:

• tools or equipment for a job or qualification e.g. hairdressing kit, carpentry tools, chef's whites
• course fees
• interview clothes
• license fees e.g. CSCS card (construction) or SIA license (security)
• childcare costs to help single parents access short term education
• transport to a new job until first pay cheque

THE FOLLOWING CANNOT BE FUNDED:

• retrospective grants
• gap year or overseas projects
• medical treatment
• course fees that are far above the £500 funding limit
• costs associated with NVQ Level 4, HNC, HND, degree or post-grad courses or courses of an equivalent level

I would request a little more than we need because they are likely to give me a little less than i ask for.
